How much does it cost to use the offcuts website ?

The service is free is you wish to buy.

Sellers pay an $11 fee (inc GST) per item sold after they sell an item of stock. (No up-front fees)

Where is your stock located? Can I come and view the stock

We do not hold the stock. We are simply a website that allows others to list their stock for sale.

You can view the sock for sale, but you will need to register to be able to see the details of the seller.

What does the price for each item include ?

The price that you see includes the cost of the item plust GST.

Any other service that you require for the stock (including 'cut-to-size', polishing, cut-outs, edging, delivery and installation) are NOT included in the price.

How much can I expect to save?

A buyer can save a large amount on the cost of the listed materials.

However, do not expect that the cost of additional services (including 'cut-to-size', polishing, cut-outs, edging, delivery and installation) will be discounted.

Is there a difference in the quality of the offcut materials

Although the cost of the materials are discounted, the materials are top quality.

The matrerials are simply 'surplus to requirements' for a completed job and available for re-use rather than being wastefully discarded.

I cannot find conveniently located stock. Can you help me?

Yes. We have over 130 stone masons and 500 kitchen manufacturers registered on our website.

Simply add your stock request in our Wanted Ads and we will inform our network of your need.

Suppliers will respond by adding their stock to the website and you can find the most conveniently located stock.

How do I pay for the stock

You need to pay the supplier as agreed with your arrangements directly with them.

Any transaction is between yourself and the seller. Offcuts is not a party to the transaction.

All warranties and performance are as agreed between yourself and the seller.

Offcuts does not guarantee the performace of the seller.

How do I respond to a Wanted Ad ?

You simply go to the Selling Offcuts page (sign in or register as required) and list your stock for sale.

Your stock will be immediately presented to the buyer the next time they log into the system.

Although Laminates and Stone are the mostpopular items, we can also list any of the other items:"

As a seller, how do I pay your fees ?

Each item sold on offcuts will incur a $11 fee (incl GST)

The fees are payable after the item is sold, not as an up-front fee.

That is, no sale, no fee,

Fees are based on an 'honesty' system.

Each month, sellers will be sent a link in an email to allow you to nominate the number of items that you sold as a result of an introduction through Offcuts.

This will operate on an "honour" system.

You can then either pay by credit card (number of items * $11) or we can send you an invoice.
