Any member of the public can use offcuts.com.au to buy materials from listing stonemasons.
The cost for each item only relates to the price of materials materials only. The price does not include additional services, such as cutting and polishing to the customers' specifications.
All prices are inclusive of GST.
Stonemasons can list their surplus and offcut stock on offcuts.com.au by entering the stock specifications and prices.
Simply register and go to the 'my materials' page.
offcuts.com.au will add $11 to the price of all materials as a fee to be paid once materials have been sold.
offcuts.com.au operates on an honesty system. At the end of each month, sellers will inform offcuts.com.au of the number of items sold. offcuts.com.au will invoice each seller for $11 for each item sold during the month.
offcuts.com.au do not own, nor stock the materials listed on the website Materials are owned by each stonemason listing materials on the offcuts.com.au website.
offcuts.com.au are not a party to any transaction between the buyer and seller.
offcuts.com.au acts only as a portal to advertise surplus materials between buyers and sellers.
Offcut stock is identical to normal stone stock.
Offcut stock is usually 'surplus to requirements' from a prior job.
Offcut stock should not be considered 'seconds' quality, but always check with the seller to ensure your expectations are met.
